PensionsLink (incorporating FindMyLostPension.com) is a register of pension pots allowing savers to view all their pension providers in one place.
PensionsLink helps savers identify lost, unclaimed and forgotten pots and shows messages and status updates direct from their pension provider.
Pensionslink is owned by Euraplan, a technology company, and is completely free for consumers.
This is how the PensionsLink register works:
Visit www.PensionsLink.com (or www.FindMyLostPension.com)
Type in your National Insurance Number, then click GO
Your personal pensions report will now appear
Here is an example of a personal pensions report.
Green: Your pension provider has all the information it needs with regard to your pension.
Amber: Your provider is unsure of all your contact details and would like you to get in touch with them.
Red: It may be in your best interests to contact your provider - you have pension benefits waiting to be claimed.
If no pensions are displayed this doesn’t necessarily mean you don’t have a current or lost pension.
We have over a million pension pots in the register and we add thousands more every week but the register is still a work in progress.
If you leave your contact details your pension provider will have a method of contacting you when they join the register.
The Silent Generation: There are unclaimed pension pots in our database belonging to this cohort of older people.
Baby boomers: Do you know where all your pension pots are?
Generation X: Are you saving enough for your retirement?
Millennials: Keep track of all your career pensions at PensionsLink.
The PensionsLink register is completely free for consumers.
National Insurance numbers are never passed to any third party.
No-one will contact you other than your pension provider.
The PensionsLink Register is sponsored by UK pension schemes.
